EVENTS/CATEGORIES
Marathon, 26.2 Miles:
Recreational/Fitness-recommended for 1st timers to those who skate a mile in longer than 3min 50 sec.
Advanced-recommended for men who skate a mile in ~3:42 min/mile or faster and women who skate ~3:54min/mile or faster. The marathon is an NROC event.
Elite Men & Women (Open), Masters Men & Women (Age 35+), Elite Veteran Men (Age 45+)-must be able to skate a marathon faster than 1 hour 30 minutes minimum, no exceptions.

PACKET PICK UP/EXPO
Packets will be available for pick up at Prairie Stone Sports and Wellness Center on Friday and at the AT&T complex on Saturday and Sunday. While there, check out the festival expo with inline skating, health, running and biking exhibitors. Packets will be available during specified packet pick up times only. To pick up your packet you will be required to sign a waiver and present valid photo ID. If you are picking up a packet for another participant you must bring a signed waiver and a copy of their photo ID. Visit schedule link for times.
GOODIES
Technical short sleeve shirts, event bib number, and an eco bag* full of goodies will be provided to all participants. Every finisher will receive an event finisher’s medal. Placement awards will also be given, see below.
COURSE INFORMATION
Sunday, May 30
The course is a beautiful 8.7 mile loop on smooth roads: 3 laps for a marathon, 1.5 laps for a half marathon and .75 laps for a 10k. The course travels through North Hoffman Estates, scenic AT&T complex, past Paul Douglas Forest Preserve and over a few moderate hills. Water stations will be provided on course and medical service will be stationed at the finish line. Please see course map for water stations, suggested spectator spots, and parking locations. Put your skates on and conquer the distance.

AWARDS:
Awards will be awarded to the top 3 participants, male and female in each age group for the marathon, half marathon and 10k recreational/fitness categories. Age Groups are as follows: 14&U, 15-18, 19-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60 and 61+. Advanced and Elite categories will receive awards for the top 5 overall male and female in each category.
GENERAL INFORMATION
This event is chip timed. All timing chips will be available at packet pick up. It is the participant’s responsibility to return their timing chips and to pay any fees for any unreturned timing chips.
Weather: The mean temperature on average is 72 degrees fahrenheit according weather.com. It is the participant’s responsibility to choose the proper clothing, nutrition and hydration for the event day weather.
Headphones are prohibited from all inline events.
Helmets are required for all inline skating events and must be worn at all times you are wearing your skates throughout the weekend.
Roller Skates/Quads are allowed in this event.
No Ski polls or pushing sticks are allowed in all inline events
Spectators should view the course map for suggested spectator spots and road closures.
