6:30 – 7:15 a.m. – Registration/Packet Pick Up at event start/finish location
7:30 a.m. – Skating Marathon/ Half Marathon & 7K (Recreational/Fitness Division)
9:00 a.m. – Free Kid’s Inline 200 Meter Dash
9:30 a.m. – Rec/Fit Marathon, Half Marathon Awards
9:55 a.m. – Skating Marathon (Elite/Advanced Division)
11:30 a.m. – Elite/Advance Marathon, Half Marathon Awards
*Rec/Fit categories must be able to complete distance in 3 hours. Elite/Advanced must be able to complete distance in 1 hr. 40 min.

Packets will be available for pick up at the start/finish location at the time specified above. Packets will be available during specified packet pick up times only. To pick up your packet you will be required to sign a waiver and present valid photo ID. If you are picking up a packet for another participant you must bring a signed waiver and a copy of their photo ID. Waiver.

Hoffman Estates Explorers
The Hoffman Estates Police Department is proud to participate in the Law Enforcement Explorer Program, sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America and Learning For Life. The Police Department has sponsored Explorer Post #806 since 1977.
Police Explorers are young adults who aspire to careers in law enforcement. Police officers volunteer as Advisers and mentors. They train and offer guidance to Explorers in all aspects of police work. Advisers generously donate their time and assist in the training and planning of future activities. Experienced police officers also provide training in a variety of law enforcement skills, such as traffic accident investigations, handling domestic disputes, processing crime scenes, building searches, and arrest techniques.

Marathon, 26.2 Miles:
Advanced/Recreational & Fitness-recommended for 1st timers to advanced skater.Elite Men & Women (Open), Masters Men & Women (Age 30-39), Elite Masters Men (Age 40-49), Elite Masters Men (Age 50+) must be able to skate a marathon faster than 1 hour 30 minutes minimum, no exceptions.

Awards will be awarded to the top 3 participants, male and female in each age group for the marathon and half marathon for the recreational categories. Elite and Advance category awards to top 3 in each category.Recreational Age Groups are as follows: 14 & U, 15-18, 19-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60 and 61+.
Elite (Men & Women Open, Men 30 – 39, Men 40 – 49, & Men 50+) and advanced men and women will receive awards for the top 3 in each category.
If you do not pick up your medal there will be a $5 fee to have it mailed to you: Post race medal request registration.

Join the fun as a volunteer. All volunteers receive a free event shirt. Volunteers can help with water stations, course marshaling, registration or similar

This event is chip timed. All timing chips will be available at packet pick up. It is the participant’s responsibility to return their timing chips and to pay any fees for any unreturned timing chips.
The event will start rain, snow or shine. The event could be delayed due to lightning or other severe weather. Above Schedule is weather dependent
Headphones are prohibited from all inline events.
It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure that they do not impair their ability to hear and detect present or potential hazards and dangers.
Helmets are required for all inline skating events and must be worn at all times you are wearing your skates throughout the weekend.
Roller Skates/Quads are allowed in this event.
No Ski poles or pushing sticks or similar are allowed in all inline events
Spectators should view the course map for suggested spectator spots and road closures.
