EMAIL AND PHONE CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Part-time and full-time paid hourly.

This is for the person who loves answering questions and just knows how to put a friendly touch on their communications.  We love organizing running events and our energy needs to come through in our emails and phone support. WAREHOUSE PERSONNEL:
Part-time and full-time paid hourly.

This person would be responsible for fixing/repairing equipment, building things related to our running events and light shows,  loading our trucks and trailers and helping out at our events.  This is for the person who is able to lift repeatedly over an extended period of time and is handy. CHRISTMAS LIGHT SHOW LOCATION MANAGER:
Part-time and full-time, paid hourly.
-Weekend Manager
-Monday thru Friday Manager

Need a manager for the Christmas light show in Grayslake, IL.  The manager is responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of light show and overseeing ticketing.  The manager needs to be a nuts and bolts, hardy, figure-it-out type of person. CHRISTMAS LIGHT SHOW SET UP/TEAR DOWN CREW:
Crew needed from October 15 to November 15 and January 1 to January 15 to help set up and tear down our light shows locally in Grayslake, IL as well as around the country. Email email@allcommunityevents.com if you are interested.

CHRISTMAS LIGHT SHOW TICKET TAKERS:
Part-time and full-time paid hourly.

Work evenings 5 pm to 10 pm collecting tickets for our Christmas light Show in Grayslake, IL. and across the country.  Seasonal November 15 to December 31st. Hourly pay. Email email@allcommunityevents.com if you are interested.

INTERNSHIPS:
The All Community Events internship is designed to introduce students to all aspects of managing events. Throughout their time here, interns will assist with logistical planning, community outreach, marketing, booking contractors and much more. Internships are available all year round. The internship is paid; however, interns are responsible for their own housing, transportation and living expense.

SEASONAL EVENT DAY WEEKEND CREW:
Be part of our team on the weekend helping set up and manage event site, registration, course setup, lead bike and volunteer placement. If you like to be outdoors and to work with your hands to put together what people look forward to on their weekends, then this job is for you. If you were made for work long hours on your feet and are able to lift equipment and direct volunteers, then we would love to have you on our team.

LEAD EVENT MANAGER:
This is a full-time Planning and Operations Event Manager position managing ALL aspects of creating fun runs, 5Ks and marathons from conception to closeout. You would be joining the “A team” surrounded by people who love and enjoy what they do.

This is a two-part job…

PART 1: PRE EVENT PLANNING (OFFICE)
Pre-event planning includes event development, permits, contractors, volunteer recruitment, creating course layouts/site maps, event day crew schedules and persistence.

PART 2: EVENT DAY EXECUTION (FIELD)
The excitement of event day execution includes leading/directing/managing up to 20 crew members, 100’s of volunteers to make an event run smoothly for 1,000’s of participants. It’s very fast-paced with a lot of problem-solving, logistical coordination and communication. This is for the person who stops at nothing to make sure everything is perfect and leaves no problem left unsolved. Beyond just directing, event days are made for people who like getting out of the office and physically engaged setting up equipment, driving trucks and trailers.

THE MUST-KNOW DETAILS:
-Must have MINIMUM 3 YEARS of experience in planning and operations.
-Must have a strong and effective ability to maintain event day TIMELINES and DIRECT event day crew.
-Focused attention to detail. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Works well under pressure and tight deadlines.
-Comfortable presenting to city agencies.
-Must be able to read maps (events depend on course maps; site maps).
Will need to learn CAD programs to develop course and site maps.
-Must be able to handle problems, conflicts and be assertive when necessary (there are always problems that need to be SOLVED very quickly on event day)

EVENT DAY DETAILS (REQUIRED):
– Must be willing to travel 20 to  25 weekends per year (Our events are nationwide and on the weekends).
– On event days must be able to work very long hours on your feet (12+ hours).
– Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly over an extended period of time (events require a lot of equipment).

SALARY:
$60,000 to $70,000 per year + health insurance
