685 runners completed the Inaugural All Community Events Cocoa Classic 5K in Deer Park, Illinois. The 5K race started promptly at 8:30 am at a below-freezing temperature of 18F with the start and finish held in the Deer Park Town Center. The official race gear fleece hoodie was the perfect attire on this chilly morning. The 5K was preceded by the Kids Dash earning each child finisher a ribbon. Every 5K finisher was welcomed with piping hot cocoa with whipped cream as well as a chocolate covered pretzel and rice crispy treat in a commemorative mug.
