Option 1: Get your packet mailed right to your door for $19.99 (limited time availability).
Option 2: Packet pick up details will be posted at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
Picking up someone else’s packet, don’t forget you must bring their signed waiver.
Option 3: On-site event day packet pick up (not suggested). See event schedule.
Participant gear must be picked up at pre-event packet pick up or on event day. If you do not pick up your participant gear there will be a fee to have it mailed to you: Post-race event gear registration

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
- Click the blue “manage my registration” link in your original confirmation email.
- Select “Transfer Event.”
- Select Virtual Chi Town 10K or Virtual Chi Town Half Marathon.
- Run the 10K or Half Marathon on your own, on a course of your choosing, anytime between now and June 30th.
- Submit your results to get added to the results board.
- Your sweatshirt and medal will be shipped to the address you signed up with during registration beginning on June 8th.

When will my gear be shipped?
Packets will be shipped by 6/8.Do I get a bib?
There will not be a race bib sent in your packet for the Virtual Run. You may print out a personalized race bib by following this link.If I transfer into the Virtual Chi Town Half Marathon & 10K in 2020, do I get a comped entry to 2021’s live event?
Since you are receiving all the gear that goes with 2020’s event, you will need to register and pay for 2021’s event when registration opens. You were emailed a coupon to 2021’s event on May 13th.
When can I complete the Virtual Chi Town Half Marathon & 10K?
You can complete the Virtual Chi Town Half Marathon & 10K anytime between now and June 30th.How do I print out my finisher certificate?
Congratulations on conquering The Virtual Chi Town Half Marathon & 10K! After you submit your results, there is a button in the top right corner that says “print my finisher certificate.”When do I need to submit results by?

A finisher medal will be awarded to every participant in both the half marathon & 10K.
A winner medal will be awarded to the top 3 participants, male and female, in each age group and overall for both the half marathon and 10K.
Participant must be present on event day to receive medals.Age Categories: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
If you do not pick up your medal there will be a $5 fee to have it mailed to you. Post race medal request registration.

We’ll be serving one (1) complimentary beer to all participants who are 21+ years of age. Please bring your i.d. and enjoy responsibly.

There will be pacers to help you achieve your goal time. Pacers will be at the start holding a sign of the pace they will be consistently running. Run with these pacers and they will help keep you on track to achieve your goal. That’s right, these pacers are dedicated to help lead you to one of the goal times listed below:

Sign up to participate as a volunteer
Join in the excitement as a volunteer. All volunteers receive a free event shirt for volunteering. Volunteers will help at water stations, participant check-in, course marshaling and many other places.
If you can’t find your volunteer confirmation e-mail, which is sent 2 weeks prior to the event, please contact us at 224-757-5425 or the e-mail address below. Or simply meet at the volunteer check-in located at the start/finish line on event day at 5:45 a.m.

Need help with your registration? Race Transfer? Change t-shirt size? Bib exchange? etc. Click here
This event is chip timed. Your “chip” is integrated with your bib. You must wear your bib on your front across your stomach to be electronically timed.
Runners and walkers can participate in this event as long as the participant can finish within the event time limit, see schedule above.
Participant gear must be picked up at pre-event packet pick up or on event day. If you do not pick up your participant gear there will be a fee to have it mailed to you: Post-race event gear registration
All participants are required to read and sign the event waiver form.
Monitored gear check will be provided. Pick up and drop off will be at the start/finish area. The event is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure that they do not impair their ability to hear, see, sense, and detect present or potential hazards and dangers.
During hours of operation, the Chicago Park District is always open to the public unless otherwise noted by the Chicago Park District. Please visit ChicagoParkDistrict.com for rules and regulations which are in effect throughout the duration of the event.
Water stations include water and sports drink.
If you ordered your race packet to be mailed to you, it will typically arrive 1 – 4 days before the event. It will be sent to the address you entered in during registration. If your package does not arrive before the event day, please come to packet pick up or the event site where you will be re-assigned your bib and gear.
If at any time you are in need of assistance throughout the event please notify a volunteer or course monitor.
Like most live sporting events, this ticket/registration is non-refundable.
No dogs. Strollers are allowed for walkers & joggers only, must start in the back of the starting corral and the parent/guardian must sign a waiver on behalf of their child(ren) in the stroller.
The event will start rain, snow or shine. The event could be delayed due to lightning or other dangerous conditions. Above schedule is weather dependent. Trail conditions could be variable.
Actual pacer finish times may vary from the advertised pace time, times are not guaranteed.You can transfer to a different distance within the same race up to 3 days before the event. If you are transferring to a more expensive race you’ll have to pay the difference of the registration fees.
You can transfer your registration/bib # to another participant for $6 up to 3 days before the event.
You can defer your registration to next year’s race or any other All Community Event’s race for $6 up to 17 days before the event. After that, you can still defer for $15 until the day prior to packet pick up. All deferment requests must be sent via e-mail and please include your name, the event your currently in and which event you would like to defer into.
You can manage your event shirt size and any other add-ons up to 10 days before the event.
